Ability to consolidate several separate sales order despatches on one despatch number Merged

** I raised this as an idea a while back but it was closed but the solution offered did not get around the issue, hence it being re-opened ** Original request : My client has requested the ability to consolidate SOP Despatch Notes in the same way that you can consolidate invoices. The example being, if you have multiple Sales Orders on the system for one customer you might want to ship the goods together on one Despatch Note. Currently, if you try to despatch all together it will output multiple Despatch Notes. Please can you provide the ability to consolidate despatch notes. The reply I got prior to it being closed was : Thank You for your feedback. It is possible to design a despatch note which would put together all despatches for the same customer. It would require a heavily customised version of the layout. If you ask your customer to contact the Sage Report Design Team by going to the Sage 200 services page and following the standard procedure, they will be able to fully investigate the request for your customer. I am quite capable of creating a layout that will group by customer but this is not what I need. Maybe I wasn't very clear, so, apologies... what I need is similar to the way that consolidated invoicing works. I need to be able to select multiple orders for the same customer and despatch them all on one despatch note. Not on a number of separate despatches that show on one document but 1 despatch note with 1 despatch note number. the solution proposed would not work as the document would not have 1 despatch number as it would be the report that is consolidating the despatch notes, not the system. A scenario is that a client has several orders and you are despatching them all together, in one box. You don't want to track each item on a different despatch number. To be explicitly clear - my client needs to be able to select multiple SO's for the same customer, click Despatch and have the option to have all items despatched using 1 despatch number.
