We would like Sage 200 to automaticallydisplay a warning at the point ofentering a purchase orderif there are insufficient funds allocated to the budget it is being paid from. At present Sage does not flag a purchase order if there isn&t enough funds in the budget to support it. We are a rapidly expanding Multi-Academy Trust with a central finance hub, our central team are responsible for the processing of all purchase orders and invoices, at present to avoid budgets becoming overspent they are having to check the budget for each purchase order before entering it into Sage, this is a time consuming exercise and an inefficient way of working. I understand Sage 50 was able to do this, however,as we need a cloud based solution please can Sage 200 be updated to include this feature which should surely be a fundamental feature of any finance software.
