Would it be possible to have email notifications for purchase orders/requisitions

Being a school most of our users are teachers and therefore not sat infront of a computer most days and therefore not loged into Sage When someone sets up a purchase requisition/order that needs authorizing that person has to email the budget holder to get them to log in an authorize the purchase requisition/order. It would be so much better if sage could do this automatically.
