ASM, System Utilities, User Login Status - for Disconnected Logins and Active Users you used to be able to click the &Show Details...& button to see what the user is/was doing at the time. This functionality was very useful in problem analysis - because it gave clues as to which elements of the database might need examination because updates may not have been done because of a disconnection. It is also useful after a server crash. Today we now find it to be rather important in resolving a database timeout. It is impossible to ask every user what they were doing at the time of the timeout on a multi-user system. This functionality needs to be replaced.
