Sage 50 to Sage 200 Migration Tool releases to coincide with Sage 50 release cycle

An update to the Sage 50 to Sage 200 Migration Tool should be provided with every major release of Sage 50, not doing so can cause delays to customers being able to upgrade to Sage 200.

We do provide an update to our migration tool with every release of Sage 50, however its provided after the Sage 50 release in line with the upcoming Sage 200 one.

In May 2022 we introduced an Sage 50 auto update exclusion process to support the customer journey for those migrating.

    Auto Update exclusions

Customers with planned migrations to Sage 200

Sage 50 and Sage 200 have different release cycles, as the migration tool is updated during the Sage 200 release cycle this could create a challenge where the customer has a migration booked in and installs the latest Sage 50 release meaning the data migration cannot take place until the tool is updated. We’re therefore introducing the following to support these migration scenarios:

    • Guidance on how to de-activate the upgrade notification

    • Submit a request to exclude a customer from the auto update notification
