When customers want to upgrade from Sage 50 to Sage 200 Standard but use Projects in Sage 50, they lose this functionality and its difficult to recreate it using analysis codes. Many Sage 50 customers just want Sage 50 in a cloud format so ensuring that upgrading to S200 Standard doesn't result in a loss of functionality is vital

How do you solve for this problem today? | We are unable to resolve this issue today so customers stay on Sage 50 or move to Xero |

Sorry I've been away - hope you are well.
Apologies if I didn't make it clear I was requesting the Sage 50 Project functionality be put into Sage 200 Standard as I'm currently dealing with a potential customer who wants to upgrade but will lose functionality because they use Sage 50 Projects, happy to discuss if you need
We are not looking for Sage 200 Project Accounting in Sage 200 standard. Simple Project functionality where you can create projects and have cost headers to split the costs over (each of which being categorised by type as per Sage 50). Then reports to allow you to see costs for each project, split by their cost headings. Being able to record revenue again the project as well to work out profit by project. Maybe simple timesheet entries to put time against projects to. As per initial suggestion, what Sage 50 can do is all that users want. The only alternative we have at the moment really is to clutter the nominal ledger with this (which is only possible if a small number of large projects and even then, creates a very cumbersome nominal) or transactional analysis codes (which isn't enough).
Sage 200 Professional has a Project accounting module, this varies in functionality from Sage 50. We wouldn't add Sage 50 features into Sage 200. Can i ask are you looking for Sage 200 Project Accounting to be added to the Sage 200 standard variant, or a more simple project functionality? In which case can you outline the functionality your looking for?
