There's often a requirement to store numbers or dates as analysis fields, but currently we can only store values as text, which leads to the risk of invalid data for the field's purpose being entered. It would be useful if each analysis field could be set to use date, date/time, integer, decimal or text so that the fields can actually be relied upon for calculations etc.
