Format analysis fields as a date

When adding analysis fields it would be very useful to have them formatted as dates so that when exporting to Excel, Excel recognises them as a date rather than "General"

Idea Benefit Fix data entry mistakes, ensure uniformity with date format ie DDMMYY, save time in Excel and ensure nothing is missed once in Excel
How do you solve for this problem today? When exporting to Excel I have to highlight the dates and format them into a Date so Excel recognises it. If the date has not been entered the same in all fields then it has to be done individually.

    However, we don't use them all for dates so would need the option to not be formatted as date so still picks up general text.
