Project Accounting - would be more meaningful to know 'invoiced revenue' or 'revenue to date'

We have several projects which are open at the same time. Various stages of completion. We have sales orders linked to projects. Currently Sage gives you "Total Revenue" which will show the value of all sales order lines linked to the project regardless of whether anything is completed or whether those SO lines have been invoiced or not. This is useful. There is also a "Potential Revenue" column. This seems to only show the un-invoiced SO line/s. So we have to add an additional column manually in Excel to determine what's been invoiced so far and be able to assess profitability on the project. It would be great is another column could be added which was "Total Revenue" minus "Potential Revenue"

Idea Benefit To know revenue to date at that moment in time far more easily and assess project profitability
How do you solve for this problem today? Manually calculate the revenue to date. It would be better to have this information in Sage as an additional column which could be added to the project list.
