HI, our clients ran their VAT return ticking that they were aware they could run it only once. It then output the VAT transactions by period part way through it crashed. The VAT return was committed/closed it looks like there is nowhere within Sage 200 where you can reporting that report. This seems crazy as what if you had a VAT inspection the VAT man wanted to see the last 4 years worth of transactions (and you couldn't easily see your saved PDF files)? I'm aware you can view the submitted returns export each VAT rate to excel, but this seems a raw way to do things. Secondly there IS a report there called VAT Transactions (by period). You can change the criteria to be any quarter, so it looks like its going to work but you can only produce this for the open quarter, not closed ones. Sage have said this is working by design. If this was expanded so it works like you'd expect it to, for any quarter, that would be brilliant. Many thanks

Introduced as part of our 2023 R1 release, when running what is defined as a runtime report - which includes the VAT reports you will now get a prompt to create a copy that can be stored in the spooler and re-run anytime. I've included a copy of the message you will see below.
