Installing add-ons should be much easier for users. I'd like to see some or all of the following reviewed and/or implemented:
Show version info before installation
Show changes that will happen during the install (add tables, add menu, overwrite reports)
Show support info and documentation links
Show licence options
Allow temporal install so that add-ons are removed after x amount of time
Allow add-ons to be disabled by the developer if running in the wrong version

thanks for the idea, can you provide a little more info on what you're looking for and the reasons for the idea.
The idea is from some time ago but there should be a version check.
