This isn't an idea - implementations of Sage 200 Professional are to be completed by accredited partners or we provide guidance to those who wish to develop. Where its Sage 200 standard the sage provisioning portal handles the installation and we no not provide an installer separately for this. Please reach out to your Sage Business Partner would can support you with appropriate guidance and a test licence if that is what is required. If you don't have a business partner and think you require Sage 200 please reply here and I can arrange for a member of the Sage team to reach out to assist.
Absolutely NOT recommended. Sage 200 isn't Sage 50 that you can take off the shelf and just learn/hope to get the best out of. It's a tool that has capabilities that you won't just 'stumble across'.
If you're genuinely interested in Sage 200 as a solution for your business, engage with someone to discuss your needs properly.
