As the price band import works at the moment, if you leave the price for an item in a price band blank, it will link that item in that price band to the standard price. Unfortunately, this doesn't work the other way around, so if you enter a price for an item linked to the standard price band the import skips over it and on the validation report you get the reason -
Price entered for price band is linked to standard price. Price ignored.
I believe entering a price for a stock item should set 'Use standard' to false and import the given price by default, but there should at least be a tick box on the import screen along the lines of "Unlink item from standard price band if price exists" which does what it says on the tin.
