We are a charity and use separate VAT codes for non business, residual VAT etc. I need to be able to check that the item has been given the correct tax code and the information i need is contained within the narrative column/section.

Thanks for your quick reply & the clarity, I've updated the categorisation for this and opened the idea for voting.
When viewing the VAT return - you can click on the values and it will give you a breakdown of what is included in the total. the 'reference' column is included in the breakdown but the 'narrative column' isn't. I would like to see the narrative column so more detail can be seen on what the transaction is. Thank you
Hi, please could you clarify this please. Do you mean at the point you are raising a purchase invoice, or when you are viewing your VAT return?
