Sage 200 Standard allows you to build a finished item made up of components and Sub Assemblies. There is currently no way of reporting on the unit cost of each component/ sub assembly other than 'knowing' what the average buying price/ Standard Cost price of the unit(s) at the time of making the finished item. The BOM Build report shows the finished items Unit cost, but there is no breakdown explaining how the cost was calculated. Sage 200 Professional has a feature laden Bill of Materials and Manufacturing modules. Both allow the end user to fully cost a built item (either in real time or retrospectively).
