Sage provide the ability to add bank rules for accounts, to remove the inefficiency of manually keying transactions but at the same time put a limit on this - Please remove the limit.

Your request and the defect you referenced are for different things. Issue 8250 was that there was a limit of 100 bank feeds rules within Sage 200 - this has been addressed by 2023 R1.
The limit of 300 rules is not a limitation imposed by Sage 200 but by the main service we use. I have fed this back to the product manager of the bank feeds service.
