Please could the prior year trial balance report (in both the standard Sage reports and in the Excel reports) be changed so that it does in fact report the prior year's closing trial balance? The closing trial balance should be the aggregate of the account opening balance (always zero for profit and loss accounts), plus the transactions for that year plus any prior year transactions entered in the subsequent year. At present the report shows balances in the year-to-date column for period 12 only for balance sheet accounts and for accounts which have had prior year transactions posted to them. This doesn't really fulfil the definition of a prior year trial balance. Thanks
