We have recently signed up for the Sage for Ecuation package and have found that one area in particular, commitment reporting, seems to be lacking on the reporting. Commitment reporting plays a large part in monitoring school budgets, as a whole and on a transactional level by budget holders. Currently, commitment reporting is only available as summary totals on the excel report, Nominal Budgets.xlsx. What would be really beneficial is to have the ability to easily view and drilldown to the transactional level as part of the Nominal Budgets excel report. Also the ability to add filter criteria, so that individual cost centres/departments could be sent to budget holders to review and monitor their committed and actual spend vs their annual budget. Currently, there are no other existing reports to view commitment items on a transactional level.
