Then currency exchange rate settings allow up to 6 decimal places but the stock item price only allows up to 5. When stock is received from a foreign supplier the FC price for the item is calculated by the exchange rate giving the price in Sterling. When that same stock is then perhaps written off it causes slight differences because the stock price only allows 5 decimal places. The allowable decimal places needs to either be standardised across the system or have the facility to configure this by individual company requirements.
