Comment from tech support was :- In 2015 there is no way to switch modules in the way you describe so the problem would not occur. This is not a problem, it is a wish, most customers want to default to lists as on previous versions.,It is an extra andunnecessarymouse click to then have to click on Nominal List for example, having first clicked on the Nominal Icon Button. Surelyby choosing anicon you areswitching modules ? AlsoIn Sage 50 all the left hand menus default to lists.
