It is a legal requirement to keep documents for customers / suppliers for a number of years, the customers want these attachments to be easily accessible, currently when archiving takes place the links to these documents are removed, and the documents are left in the folder to be searched upon but not easily found from within sage.
It is suggested that the historic table holds the link and ability to access the attachment as the current tab does.

There's not actually a link to attached documents in any SQL table, the docs are filed using transaction type, account number and URN. So I would have thought it would be reasonably straightforward to enable the "Attached Documents" column and button for the History tab in SL/PL Transaction Enquiry,
