Copy text from an external document in to Sage 200

Previously logged on the old 'Wish List', adding to the Ideas Hub: To be able to copy text from an external document such as Microsoft Word that can contain formatting such as a hyperlinks or information from a table Description The customers copy text from an external document such as Microsoft Word that can contain formatting such as a hyperlinks or information from a table in to Sage 200. The customer then removes the formatting using &Clear Formatting& in MS Word or copying the information in to Notepad which removes all formatting. They then cut and paste this information in to Sage 200 in to for example the Sales Order Item Line Description or in to the Free Text Item Line details on a Sales Order. They also paste this in to the Operation Notes on Works Orders. When previewing the SOP Despatch Note, Invoice & Picking List and Batch Works Order Job Card and Operation Sheet all information that has been copied in to Sage appears correctly yet when the document is printed some of the information is missing on the printed document. I have tried removing all formatting in MS Word and Notepad and then pasting the information in to Sage yet upon printing this issue still occurs. I have asked the customers to try different printers and I have tried our own printer in the office and the issue still occurs. I have tried with demo data and also customer data as well as customised and standard layouts and the issue is still present upon printing. Current functionality Open Microsoft Word document and on the &Home& tab select Clear Formatting on the entire document. Then copy any previously formatted text such as hyper links or any information from a table in to Sage 200 to the Item Line Description for a Standard Item or a Free text item. Then Print the SOP Invoice, Despatch Note and Picking List and some of the formatted text will now be missing on the printed document. Or in the Works Order Operations Notes and then print the Works Order Documents such as the Job Card or Operation Sheet and some of the Operation Notes text will be missing. Required Functionality Copy in external text from Word Documents in to Sage and upon both the preview and on any printed documents such as SOP Invoice, Despatch Note and Picking List or in the Job Card or Operation Sheet in Works Order Processing all text is showing as expected. This would require some character validation as Tabs and carriage returns can currently cause problems.
