thanks for the comment but it may be that some users don't want email as the default hence the text change to make it a more generic request. The specific of a specified default would be considered if this was promoted to being developed.

Hi Jo, I think the change in the title is slightly different to what the query was. Currently for all Customers the default when a customer is set up is that the statement production is "Paper Standard". The change wanted is that on set up they default to "email standard", you can already change them manually on accounts.

Thanks Gary, this information helps, to ensure other users are clear I've changed the title from "change default statement production method" to "setting to allow the user to choose the statement production method"

Hi Jo, I have a customer asking for this - so when you create a new account in Sage it defaults to Paper Standard, in the Documents tab, they want it setting to Email Standard so when accounts are created, so they dont have errors meaning they have to update a number of accounts.

Could you provide more details on this - when going to credit control > statements the options refers to statements to printer & email, do you mean have an option for email only.
