Sales Order Button for Save and Generate Order Acknowledgement

A customer has requested an option to produce the Order Acknowledgement from within the Enter Sales Order process, which would save time for them as the person entering the order is the person printing the acknowledgement. For people who don't want this, maybe this can be an option controlled by settings or a feature in sys admin. I know there are 3rd party addons that can do this but it would be good to have in the core program.
