Over the last year I have managed to migrate our Data Centre Operations to Azure now I am keen to implement always on SQL so that I do not have to negotiate downtime with the business to take our online services down for Windows updates, etc. The most cost effective solution other than multiple clustered SQL Servers is to use a managed SQL instance but the one application that prevents this is Sage which does not currently support Azure SQL. I am quite keen to know if there is any plan to introduce support for Managed SQL in Azure and if so what the timeline might be.
