Our customer uses internal areas to (a) reserve stock for special purposes, and (b) modify / prove on a test bench. The advantage of an internal area is that the quantity moved to it actually reduces the free stock quantity visible of the screen displays - whereas if they used a special &warehouse& then that stock would still seemingly be available for immediate allocation to any order. However, we need to overcome the disadvantage that there is no stock report (or ability to do a stock count) for an internal area. Surely this is not a &special& report requirement?
