If the setting for not allowing to post anything not in the current period is in Accounting System Manager - Settings- System Settings and in the transaction settings it is currently set to Use accounting period based validation and has Unacceptable for closed accounting periods. you cannot enter a date for when the actual claim was incurred if that date was in a closed period. Would it be possible to change how entering time sheets works so that the system looks at the Claim Date only and that any date can be entered for the Date Incurred ( fieldnames are how Sage have the labels in the web client)
