Please stop Captcha verification which is obtrusive and time consuming

You have started daily captcha verification when logging in but your captcha's don't seem to work properly and you have to try multiple times for very obvious captchas, like a motorbike or a bus because your captcha system is flawed. It wastes precious time for all users daily. Not sure why it needs to be so frequent and obtrusive when you have 2FA too! Please stop this asap.

Idea Benefit It will save precious time and frustration for all users
How do you solve for this problem today? By going thoough the captcha screens multiple times

Adding my support to this. Since 2FA was rolled out this should be considered redundant, as it's requiring users to validate both that they are logging in and that they are a human.

The security step using the Google Authenticator was really good. This particular capture is very time consuming and frustrating, especially when you need to access the system really quickly. The images are awful quality, the "click the box with part of a bike in it" ones are so frustrating as you never know if you have selected right or wrong and the multiple picture options to click all the buses penalises you for being too quick as the system is not as quick as the user so you fail each time so have to slow down and wait and have more delays while the system generates a new poor quality image.

Please revert to Google Authenticator. Thank you

We have implemented additional Captcha verification in Sage ID to protect unauthorised access to our customers' accounts.

This security measure helps distinguish human users from automated scripts by analysing login patterns.

While Captcha is not directly controlled by Sage, it is a critical layer of defence to safeguard our customers’ accounts from malicious activity.

We are closely monitoring the situation and working on further solutions to reduce its impact on our customers, while also improving security and protection.

Way too much to do just to log on, I have a fear of losing a phone for authentication so I carry two Laptops (apple and pc) and two phones around the world while working, just so I can get access and I have back up in case one gets stolen (again) and on top of all that there is further processes to get in. Computers hve security, sage hs security then there’s extra security….My previous sage 200 via a server was so much quicker to get access. The risk v security is way out of balance, should be quicker and easier.

Totally agree with this, such a frustrating way to start the day. So many badly constructed screens to get through and as highlighted already, can't see the point when there is 2FA.

12 - thats twelve! - sets of images to click through this morning. Is a wing mirror included as part of the motorcycle? what about the riders helmet?

Absolutely spot on. It's completely ridiculous. It had disappeared for months we were all horrified when it returned a few days ago. As you say, screen after screen after screen of images. Not fit for purpose, wastes so much time and causes so much frustration with the Sage brand. Please Sage, turn it off again.

Thank you for your comments, Sage ID is not a Sage 200 specific feature its a central identity service used across a range of Sage Products. I'm currently speaking to the Sage ID to share your feedback and understand why the move to daily captcha verifications.
